Flip-up Migraine filter clips, to attach to a frame.
- On the website, to keep things simple, the clips are sorted by shape; the different shapes are shown below.
- All tints are engraved on the lens.
- As a French optical manufacturer, we can supply tints on request. (Please contact us)
- The advantage of our filters is that they filter to a consistent spectrometric chart.
- Depending on use, choose category 1, 2, 3 or 4.
- Category 4 is reserved for extreme conditions such as glaciers, or for specific pathologies.
Magelis - The anti-migraine tint
Migraine causes frequent headaches (cephalalgia). It is usually disabling, as it can interfere with the sufferer's daily activities.A migraine lasts between 4 and 72 hours.Symptoms include phonophobia, photophobia, nausea and even vomiting, and are usually made worse by physical exertion. Three times more common in women than in men, it often begins between the ages of 10 and 40. Migraine has various causes; the ophthalmic factor is frequently cited. The Magelis tint acts on neurotransmitters by modifying the visible spectrum; it also limits light transmission, which causes additional stress. Worn all the time, this tint reduces visual stress and softens light flashes. This dual action significantly reduces migraine and/or epilepsy attacks. For several years we have been making a migraine lens called Magelis, with very good results. How it works:
- Like all our lenses, this one protects against harmful blue light.
- It acts on light transmission and perception.
- Its filtering cuts part of the infrared rays that trigger migraines.
