Gradient filters to attach to a frame.- All tints are engraved on the lens.
- As a French optical manufacturer, we can supply tints on request. (Please contact us)
- The advantage of our filters is that they filter according to a consistent spectrometric chart.
- Depending on the intended use, choose index 1, 2, 3 or 4.
- Index 4 is reserved for extreme conditions such as glaciers, or for specific conditions.
The 2 principles in low vision:
1. Short-wavelength (blue) light is scattered the most; eliminating it increases contrast.
- To do this, blue light is cut from 450 (wavelength) to 585 as cleanly as possible: this is the base tint.
- This tint can then be varied in light intensity. This gives a whole range of more attractive lenses.
- Low-vision patients are more sensitive to brightness: the more blue is cut, the lower the light intensity.
2. Reducing brightness creates a diffraction spot, which improves the ametropia.
