Screen Protect

Blue Light Protection

Almost all computer screens now use LED backlighting. This type of lighting has a stronger brightness peak in blue light than other light sources. BlueBan special tints effectively protect you against this brightness peak (see spectrum).

Unlike conventional lens manufacturers' coatings, which filter only 20 to 25% of blue light, BlueBan tints filter 60% and 70% of this harmful light.

Soothing

Several factors contribute to the eye strain felt after long periods of screen work.
The aggressiveness of blue light (more information on blue light in the low vision tints) and the high brightness of screens.

BlueBan tints effectively reduce brightness while maintaining
an excellent level of contrast (which is not possible by lowering the brightness of
the screen).
