The Miroité
Argentic
Argentic is a semi-transparent, reflective silver coating applied to the front of the lens, combined with an InsideR UV coating on the inside.
It can be applied to tinted or polarized lenses.
Ideal for sports. While the anti-reflective coating prevents certain light rays from interfering with the wearer's vision, the tint created by the coating improves vision and contrast.
The treatment has UV protection on the back as well as oleophobic and hydrophobic protection to protect against dust, water, and grease.
The tint of the glass underneath plays a key role and must have a light transmission of at least 15% to achieve the desired aesthetic result.
