Blue Light Protection

Almost all computer screens now use LED lighting. This type of lighting has a higher peak brightness in blue light than other types of lighting. BlueBan special tints effectively protect you from this peak brightness (see spectrum).

Unlike traditional glass treatments, which filter only 20 to 25% of blue light, BlueBan tints filter 60% and 70% of this harmful light.

Appeasement

Several factors contribute to the visual fatigue experienced after long periods of screen work.The aggressiveness of blue light (more information on blue light in low vision tints) and the high brightness of screens.

BlueBan tints effectively reduce brightness while maintainingexcellent contrast levels (which is not possible by reducing the brightness ofthe screen).
